A Day Well Spent in Seattle

Seattle greeted us with a cool breeze and skies that shifted between grey and blue every few minutes. This wasn’t a whirlwind trip full of rushing. It was a day for wandering and feeling.

Morning Vibes at Pike Place Market

Our first stop was the iconic Pike Place Market. The smell of fresh flowers, roasted coffee, and salty sea air filled the space. Vendors called out cheerfully, and street musicians added a rhythm. We sampled local treats and watched the fishmongers toss salmon through the air. So fun and fascinating!

A Walk Through Chihuly Garden and Glass

In the afternoon, we visited Chihuly Garden and Glass – an art space unlike anything we’d seen before. The vibrant glass sculptures looked like they belonged in another world.

Outside, the garden blended the natural with the fantastical, as colorful glass pieces peeked out among the plants. It felt peaceful and surreal at the same time, like art and nature were quietly having a conversation.

Sunset at the Space Needle

As evening fell, we made our way to the Space Needle. The elevator ride up was quick, but the view at the top was worth every second. The city stretched out below us, with Mount Rainier in the distance and the water shimmering in the sunset light. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day.
